SÖRMLANDSLEDEN OFFERS A SCENIC EXPERIENCE THROUGH FOREST AND COUNTRYSIDE. THERE ARE SEVERAL STAGES TO CHOOSE FROM.
Stage 55 between Gisekvarn and Trosa is 16 km long. It is a nice and demanding trail that passes Ringsjön where you can take a dip in warm weather. The tour takes about 3-4 hours to walk. It takes you through deep forests and further towards the coast with a view of the Baltic Sea, then high and in very hilly forest terrain. Eventually you pass Tureholm Castle and soon you arrive in Trosa.
Stage 55:1 between Sillekrog and Trosa is 17 km long. The trail follows a very old national road for about 3 km. Then you can enjoy open landscapes and see some Sörmland farms before entering the first hilly forest section of the stage. From the trail it is about 200 m down to the Sillen bathing area where you can take a dip. The trail continues over the old E4 and over Trosaån to follow the river through Vagnhärad's community. Once you have passed Vagnhärad, you enter a forest area and come out on a country road. Just before the finish, you can quench your thirst in an old cold spring. Then you head towards Trosa and the end of the stage. This trail is suitable for those who want to take their pram with them.
Stage 56 between Tullgarn and Trosa is 20 km long.
This is the longest hiking stage of the Sörmland Trail. After being dropped off at Tullgarn, you walk in beautiful forest terrain via Pilskogsbergen with magnificent views of Tullgarnsviken and the castle. The hike continues in hilly terrain and beautiful landscape. When you get to Stensund there is a possibility to rest, behind the dance floor there are tables and benches. The hike ends in the harbor below Bomans.
