Boman's Christmas buffet is making a comeback.

We have a long tradition of Christmas buffets at Bomans Hotel. Then the pandemic hit, so we took a break—and that break ended up being considerably longer than the pandemic itself.

It's that time again.

On November 27, we’ll be setting the table on the veranda with executive chef Gustav Otterberg and his team of chefs in the kitchen.

It will be a traditional, artisanal Christmas buffet where the kitchen prepares everything from scratch. Right now, we’re waiting for our new smoker. Once it’s in place, we’ll be smoking salmon, whitefish, homemade sausages, roast lamb, and plenty of other delicious treats.

We’d rather focus on quality than quantity. Care goes into every herring, sausage, and barrel.

Cold dishes are set out on the porch. The slightly warm dishes are brought to the table in bowls and serving dishes, so you can pass them along, help yourselves to another spoonful, and linger for a while.

Exactly the way we think a Christmas buffet should be.

The Christmas buffet is served every weekend, starting on November 27 and running through December 23.

Fridays starting at 6:00 p.m.

Saturdays starting at 12:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Sundays starting at 2:00 p.m.

Wednesday, December 23, starting at 6:00 p.m.

Price of the Christmas buffet

Friday and Saturday evenings: 1,050 SEK/person
Saturday and Sunday lunch: 795 SEK/person
Children 0–2 years old: free
Children 3–6 years old: 225 SEK
Children 7–12 years old: 475 SEK

For groups of more than 20 people, we serve the Christmas buffet on other days.

For vegans and vegetarians, we serve a Christmas-inspired 3-course menu.

We cannot accommodate strollers in the dining room during the Christmas buffet.

Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs in the dining room when we are serving the Christmas buffet.
