Invidia

Invidia means envy. The magnificent and evil queen in Snow White is the inspiration for this black room. Mirror mirror mirror on the wall there... in the ceiling painting, my sister-in-law Karin has managed to bring out the envy that the beautiful and austere queen feels towards her stepdaughter Snow White. The large red leather heart above the bathtub is designed by artist Oliver Skifs and symbolizes the juicy red apple in the story. This is for those who really like black (like myself). There are also obvious elements of blood red. I found all of these amazing tassels in a little shop on West Broadway in NYC. Another place for great fabric purchases.
