Plantation

Plantagen makes me think of lazy days under the palm trees. The colonial interior design style is so beautiful. Unfortunately, the colonial era was not as beautiful for many of the people who lived through it. For me, this is the Oriental Hotel in Bangkok. We spent many wonderful days there when our children were small. It was our sanctuary. The little cushions in the armchairs are from the Oriental, that's the pattern they have in their tea room. The fantastic shawl I bought at Bergdorf Goodman many years ago. Sister-in-law Karin has, as always, helped me to paint exactly as I wish. In this case Bamboo. I am absolutely crazy about bamboo, you can see it in many of Boman's flower beds and also in many hotel rooms.
