St Tropez and Hideaway

Almost every year I go to St Tropez to recharge my batteries and get inspiration for Bomans. There are many lovely hotels and restaurants to visit and my absolute favorite hotel is Le Yaca.

The days are spent at Club 55 located on Pampelonne Plage. Here I lie and think about the summer that has passed, how have we had it at Bomans? What does the fall look like? And not least, what should we find in the future to keep us up to date and interesting for our new and old guests! In other words, there is a lot to think about and consider.

We are pleased with our year so far and the fall looks good, there are major challenges ahead with the recession and what is happening around us in the world. The hotel and restaurant industry is sensitive to fluctuations and we are aware of changes both in the private and conference market.

Since I have a weakness for beautiful environments and also feel best when I can create, there are always thoughts about change and improvement.

All Boman's rooms look completely different and I have never understood people who say that the room is not important, you should just sleep there. How strange I think.

Hideaway, which was originally our sauna, had to be quickly converted into a hotel room this summer due to a water leak.
Now I saw my chance to make a "shabby chic" room for the first time. A little Mölle meets St Tropez. Since this room is nicely situated in the garden and has its own outdoor whirlpool, it fits well with that particular theme.

Beautiful beach towels from Club 55's beach shop became fluttery thin curtains and the giant hat that was a market find from Place des Lices became a headboard above the bed. The coverlet and pillow are also from Club 55. Other little things also found their place in our Hideaway.
This is the great happiness, to be inspired and then bring both ideas and things back to Trosa to quickly get them in the right place.
To have a good friend, Anna, who sews and paints with the speed of the wind and helps me to realize all my ideas is absolutely fantastic.
